Utterly homeless, Tom had been walking for days, hungry, tired and cold to the bone. With nowhere to go and sure no one would ever touch him again, never mind love him he tried to end his life. One police officer had other ideas.
Be part of creating a video of how one cop made choices that helped shape a positive future for one man at the end of his rope, ready to die, wanting to die.
The video will be used as a training tool for police officers, other first responders and and to educate the general public about trauma and compassion.
Money raised will help produce the video and support it's presentation at training, conferences, etc.
"When I first met Tom over 10 years ago he told me this story and it had an incredible impact on me knowing it to be true as the words we say and the compassion we show as police officers, especially to our most vulnerable can have a life altering impact.
