The Christmas Donkey

Unexpected calls come at any time of the year. Our assistance was requested for a senior donkey that had sadly outlived her owner and needed placement. She had been living with a caring neighbor who needed help finding a new home for the donkey.

We drove across the state and loaded her up to travel to the rescue. To say that she is excited to see other donkeys is an understatement - she hasn't stopped smiling and snuggling since she got off the trailer.
