It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we are writing to you on behalf of our beloved sister, daughter, and friend Shelly. If you knew Shelly you know she loved her two children Adalynn and Steven like nothing else. The kids share the same warm, caring, and contagious smile that their mother was beloved for.
On January 3rd, Shelly DeHart was murdered in an act of domestic violence. There are no words that can explain the senseless way in which she has been taken away from us all. Her children are now without their mother, her embrace, her consultation and the financial benefit of her help for the remainder of their lives.
We are all grieving, heartbroken, and at a loss for words. None more so than these children who will grow up never having the benefit of their mother’s advice and financial support as they attempt to navigate the bumpy road life often lays before us all.
In an effort to provide financial assistance for health, education, living expenses and other support to these amazing kids, this gofundme account has been established in the children's name. What we can do for Shelly that she would appreciate more than anything is to make sure that her children have an opportunity to move forward in this life without this tragedy affecting them financially on top of the tremendous emotional burden.
We will never understand why, we can only accept this as part of a divine plan and do what is in our power to help them. Keep those you love close; cherish every moment you have with them. May God bless you, and thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your contributions.
