The Brother Askari Celebration

Beloved Brother Askari, our dear friend, mentor, and elder has been out of work due to illness for most of 2018.  Please show your support for him and his family.  Brother Askari provides us with an amazing presence at Alliance High School, as well as for friends and family in his community.  Brother Askari has worked for decades with gang members, people suffering from mental illness, and teen fathers.  Students at Alliance High School, where he currently works, refer to him as a surrogate grandfather; we know that he is truly a wisdom elder.  Please give what you can to help this tremendous individual make ends meet until he can get back to work.
