MAKE HISTORY - SAIL FOR TRUTH!

£50,000 (FOR YACHT AND CREW) - Campaign to sail from the Falklands to Cape Town.

WHY:  To make history by ending, once and for all, the age-old debate:  Is the Earth Flat or Spherical?

HOW:  According to standard theory this journey from the Falklands to Cape Town is 4,145 miles (3,600 nautical miles), at an average speed of 10 knots the trip should take around 15 days.

But according to the Flat Earth the journey is much longer, approx 20,000 miles (17,380 nautical miles) and at 10 knots should take more like 70+ days.

OK, well, let's see which it is then!

This significant difference in distance between the Falklands and Cape Town makes it possible to truly test the standard theory of the world.  If the distance travelled is close to 4,000 miles then the Earth is a globe and cannot possibly be flat.

BUT... If the journey takes 70+ days at an average speed of 10 knots, then we must have sailed closer to 20,000 miles and the earth is flat and cannot possibly be a globe.

It is as simple as that.  Standard theory says the distance is around 4,000miles, the flat earth says it's five times longer, around 20,000.  Establishing the distance will either confirm the sphere or confirm the flat earth, ONCE AND FOR ALL.

REMEMBER: The distance according to flat earth is 5 times longer than on the sphere...

SO...

1 - If it takes 15 days at 10 knots then earth is a sphere and we sail 4,000mi.
2 - If it takes 70 days at 10 knots the earth is flat and we sail 20,000mi.
3 - If it takes 15 days at 47 knots (a noticeably FAST speed) then earth is flat and we sail 20,000mi.
4 - If it takes 3 days at 47 knots it's a sphere and we sail 4,000mi over the sphere.
5 - If it takes 70 days at 2 knots (a noticeably SLOW speed) it's a sphere and we sail 4,000mi.
6 - If it takes 362 days at 2 knots then it's flat.

Easy to show whether the average speed is 2, 10, or 47 knots.

In brief, if earth is a sphere the journey will take 15 days at an average of 10 knots, 70 days at 2 knots, and 3 days at 47 knots.

If earth is flat it will take 70 days at 10 knots, 362 at 2 knots and 15 days at 47 knots.

The yacht will sail from West to East, Falklands to Cape Town, the winds in the region blow  at a conservative average speed of 25mph West to East, and the sea currents flow West to East.  The ship's true knots will be established and monitored the old way - with a chip log - and compared with GPS knots.

------>>>>>The chip log is a wooden wedge tied to a rope with evenly spaced knots every 14.4 meters.  The chip is thrown overboard and the rope is let out for 28 seconds, counting the knots that pass in that time gives the true speed in knots. <<<<<-----

The journey will be the subject to a documentary recording the entire trip, which will take us close to the 60th parallel - but not beyond it - before continuing south of Tristan de Cunha and on to Cape Town.  As much as can will be streamed live on YouTube (where communications balloons are available).

PLEASE HELP ILLUMINATE THE WORLD BY ENDING THIS DEBATE,  DONATING AND SHARING - AND LET'S MAKE HISTORY!
