The Barrett Family Scholarship Fund

Our beloved and dear friend Jimmy Barrett tragically passed away October 9th, 2023. Jimmy was a devoted husband to Jill and father to Xander and Jordyn who are now facing an uncertain future without their loving Dad. His warmth and kindness will be deeply missed.

Xander is 19 and a sophomore at UNC Wilmington majoring in Entrepreneurship and Business Development. Jordyn is 10 and a 5th grader at River Bend Elementary. Jimmy and Jill worked tirelessly to provide them with the best education and opportunities in life.

In lieu of flowers, we kindly request you to consider donating towards the kids scholarship fund as they navigate the emotional and financial challenges ahead. We want to ensure they continue to receive the care and opportunities they deserve. It would mean the world to Jill and their family during this difficult time.
