It is with a very heavy heart that I am writing this. On Wednesday 9/19/2018, my brother, Rob Barish Jr. was taken from us in a motorcycle accident unexpectedly.
Rob was an amazing person. He was a great father to his children, an amazing son, a wonderful husband and just and all around terrific guy to be around and know. At the end of the day, anyone who knew Rob, loved Rob. His smile was contagious, his heart was full of joy and love, and he would do anything for anyone.
Rob was an icon for the “bikelife” community. Some knew him as “ The king of the streets”. He not only inspired myself to reach new heights, but he touched the lives of so many and motivated people to get out and enjoy the sport he loved so very much. If you knew Rob well, you’d know that nothing was ever enough when it came to a motorcycle. I remember Rob once saying to me that “ every time I am on two wheels, I am free”.
Today I ask all of you to come together with me and help support the memory of Rob and his family he left behind. Rob never hesitated to reach out and lend a helping hand and I ask that we repay him by helping his family in this time of sorrow and need. By helping raise money for his family they will be able to mourn the loss of a husband, father, brother and son and not worry about the financial expenditures that come with losing a loved one. Any donations would be greatly appreciated and I thank all of you for not only helping out Rob and his family, but for sharing the honor with myself and others by having the pleasure of knowing him.
Rob, we all love you so very much. Thank you for always being an amazing guy, true friend, great father, wonderful husband and son. We will ride on in your memory, and may you forever Ride In the Sweetest Peace. We love you ❤️
