The Baltz Family
Don protégé
Hey everyone, my name is Nick, the step-son of Craig Allen Baltz. I am deeply saddened to have lost my stepfather and the father to my two younger brothers on Tuesday, December 3 of 2019. He suffered a major heart-attack while driving his work van around the city, sideswiping another vehicle. The trauma doctors tried endlessly to get his heart to beat again in which it did two different times but unfortunately he didn't come back to us. He was such an amazing step-dad to me and a super-dad to my two younger brothers, Connor & Logan. He had unconditional love for his family, including our mom, his wife, his soul-mate, Melissa. He worked a fulltime job to assure the family was taken care of and came home to his family ready to work with the kids on their homework. Ending the night with the TV shows he shared with Melissa. He was so involved in any and every event for Connor and Logan including being the coach for their baseball team and Rugby teams, as well as taking them to the skate park weekly. Hearing about his love for animals and sports (especially his favorite sport, Rugby), giving his intelligent advice, and the down to earth conversations we had are what I'll miss the most. He was a humble man and was much of a father figure to me. He made an impact on every person he had come across. The amount of love and support that has been pouring out to us has been tremendous, thank you so much. There has been several requests from friends and family wanting to help with further costs like helping moving my mother and brothers out of their current house, car payments, funeral expenses, Christmas, or just simply give an act of love or appreciation for their friendship and the respect that they had for Craig. For the some that don't know, Craig supported the family himself, with being the only one able to work due to Melissa's medical disabilities. Anything helps and we appreciate everyone for being here and giving their condolences.
