The Baldification of Jin & Min

On December 3, 2019, Min's dad Sardar Rajinder Singh Kahlon (aka "Bapu") passed away of liver cancer.
Shortly after, on August 18, 2020, Min's furbaby and Bapu's little buddy, Niku passed away of splenic cancer. Both far too young. 

Bapu was many things. Father, businessman, politician, philanthropist, activist, athlete and, what he refers to as the greatest title of his life, as a grandfather ("Bapu"). 

In honour of Bapu and Niku, Min and her soul sister Jin - both with their silken crowns of tresses - pledge to shave their heads to raise money for BC Cancer Foundation.

Are they crazy? Yes. Is it worth it? Yes!

Though Bapu and Niku fought valiantly for their lives, what shone as a realization was that though life may punch us with the reality of loss, it helps to hold a loving hand. 

For many people facing the unfaceable, there is BC Cancer. Every dollar they raise stays right with BC Cancer to advance research and innovations to care for the people of B.C.

Here's the deal: 

Once we have raised $5000, we will shave our heads.
Bam, justlikethat. 

We'll give you all until Feb 11, 2021 to hit this target.
Why Feb 11?
Because it's the UN's International Day of Women and Girls in Science.
