The Bakss Family Transplant Journey

Alice has been living with chronic liver disease for over 10 years now. The doctors cannot find a cause for this and have decided she now needs to go on the list for a liver transplant. In addition to this they have found aneurysms on her spleen that they cannot address until the transplant happens. This has all resulted in Alice now living in the Brisbane area while she waits for this life saving major surgery. We have a number of out of pocket medical bills, incidental costs and travel expenses that are adding up very quickly. Our four children and I will be staying in Rockhampton for the coming months and driving the 9 hour trip down whenever possible to visit and spend time with Alice. This is a difficult time for our little family and it would be a huge blessing if we could use these trips to make some good memories.
