Hi everyone, for the last few months I’ve been working on a project which is very close to the hearts of my family and I. It's something I've been working on privately for some time now but extra help would allow to me help more people.
Ayede Ekiti, the village my father was born and raised in Nigeria, is struggling for clean and potable water. Finding a working or uncontaminated water source is a daily and crippling battle and the negative effects on the community are substantial. It’s hard to believe that in 2021 a problem like this still exists.
I’ve tried my best to create the Ayede Ekiti Water Project, which help provide the community with clean and safe water. The project aims to help build, replace and restore the damaged and dysfunctional boreholes that currently exist in the area. Providing a reliable and accessible water source will return not only better health to the village but will also return time for studies and work.
I’d love to be able to give children and families the opportunity to become anything they want to be through having access to clean water, something we all take for granted.
If possible, please share and help donate (link in bio), no amount is too small! My dad, Ayodele Amos, a village elder himself will oversee the actual development in Nigeria to make sure no funds are mismanaged.
