The Alferman Family Medical Fund

Allow me to introduce you to the Alferman Family. James, Katie,  Wyatt and Piper. They live in Highland, IL.  The Alferman family has had an extremely tough 2020. Tougher than most of us.  Not only did Katie lose her job when the COVID-19 shut downs hit Illinois,  but her husband James was diagnosed with an aggressive, inoperable form of kidney cancer.  This is complicated by the fact that James has diabetes, making his need for two functioning kidneys even more of a necessity. In addition to all of this,  their 6 year old son Wyatt also has special needs. 

When the additional unemployment benefits expired, this left their family with almost no income. The treatments and specialists that James must see are in St. Louis and they have to travel. Their one vehicle needs repairs and this is necessary for him to kick this cancer. Also, they will be needing to move very soon. In addition, Wyatt has specialized therapy that he attends to help him with day to day life.  Not to mention the family's normal life expenses.  

They would never ask for help themselves.  So my sister and I set up this fundraiser to help ease some of their burden. Please help in any way you can. Even a small donation makes a huge difference.
