Thanksgiving - Military & Veterans Trail Run

My name is Vidal Gonzalez and besides being a full time real estate investor, I am also an ultra trail runner. This weekend I am participating in a 25 Mile Trail Race
with a rucksack on my back and while carrying that rucksack on a training run last night, I thought about veterans and those serving in the military and I felt the
need to do something for those who may be currently in times of need. Let's face
it, most of us are so blessed that we would not even think about going a day
without a meal or seeing loved ones during the holiday season. Well, what
about veterans or military family members who may be going through tough
times and are alone for Thanksgiving, while their loved ones are deployed and
serving our country somewhere else in the world?
So, after my training run last night I contacted my friend and founder of Eagles Flight and shared with her what I was thinking of doing. She has such a giving heart and was 100% All In! Eagles Flight assists veterans and military families as well as families in crisis in our communities. During the Season of Giving, Eagles Flight
provides Thanksgiving dinners to Veterans, Military families and families in crisis.
Thanksgiving dinners include Turkey with all of the trimmings and desserts
provided to families so that they may have their own family gathering. Thank you for giving back to families that serve.
If we can get just 100 people to donate $25, a $1 for every mile that I run, we can
raise $2,500. Whatever you feel inclined to donate, more or less than the $1 a
mile, would be appreciated and will be put to good use.
Let's all work together, give thanks and bring a smile to as many families as we can during this Thanksgiving season.
