Help David provide Thanksgiving meals to Asheville residents

(Edited) Watching the catastrophic damage in Asheville, NC for the last couple weeks has been tugging at my heartstrings. I’ve now been here a week, seeing the devastation in person. Wanting to help but conflicted about how to go about it. Thanksgiving is this week Most of you know I am a former Executive Chef, Thanksgiving is my favorite holiday. Cooking is the best way I could help the most people. Serving Thanksgiving meals on Sunday 11/24. I am in contact with 2 other Churches and an organization from Ohio doing meals during this week. Donations are being used to buy supplies, food and fuel

There are still many families in tents in the freezing temperatures that need basic supplies, warm sleeping bags, pillows, blankets and many organizations that need building materials to get these families into small structures. I have purchased a number of roofing supplies and heaters but so much more are needed. Help me help them. As they keep saying to me “We are mountain strong”
