Thanking a very special US Veteran.

Rolling Thunder’s Chapter 6, and Band of Brothers are spearheading an effort; along with assistance from the NYC Union Building Trades Rank and File membership and the local community: Together we are teaming up to purchase and donate a Harley Davidson motorcycle.  This motorcycle will be given away to a very special United States Veteran. This particular Veteran entered the NYC Union Building Trades through the Helmets to Hardhats program. Prior to entering the Union Building Trades, this Veteran served our great Country through his participation in the United States Marine Corp. He originally entered this great Country on his parents work visa as a minor. After the 9/11 tragedy, he immediately realized that his calling in life was to become a proud US Marine. The week he was due to ship out to Afghanistan, he received his United States, AMERICAN citizenship. Unfortunately while serving over there as a Team Leader, he stepped on a 30 pound bomb and it took both of his legs off from just below each knee rendering him a double-amputee. He are having this bike custom retrofitted to accommodate his disability and THANK HIM for his service. Please support this endeavor.
