I would like to make the opportunity for the Didcot community and parents of Manor School to give a little thank you to all the staff at Manor school for the above and beyond effort they are undergoing to help support their children and families in this uncertain time.
As a parent of a school pupil and a husband of one of the teachers at the school, I have been truly amazed with the effort that all the staff have put in.
The online virtual classrooms that have been setup are fantastic and has supported my daughter so well in her learning. I know many other parents feel the same after seeing the praise shared for the school over social media.
I think we can all say thank you to the schools for opening for key worker and vulnerable children through the term time and over the school holidays. While the staff are putting themselves at risk looking after front line worker children.
What is the fund for?
My aim is to raise enough money so when the world finally gets back to normality all the staff of Manor School are able to go out for a staff meal together. A small token of our appreciation for their efforts in supporting our children and their families.
Every little helps, so if you are a parent or supporter of Manor School or someone local just wanting to say thank you, please show your support here.
