Thai Tea’s Tooth Extraction

Thai Tea was originally an emaciated stray I rescued off the streets(seen above when I first picked him up), he’s been living under my care as of August 2019. I took him to a vet where I had found him and they only did a look over/shots/deworming and said he looked fine even, though I asked about his teeth, and told me he didn’t need a cleaning in a year or so.
This was sadly a misdiagnosis.

As of this weekend he has spat out two rotten molars from his mouth after eating. We immediately took him to the vet once we got an appointment, and after taking him to get him examined he was diagnosed with severe dental disease and needs an X-ray and tooth extraction. He’s also getting other tests done to make sure he doesn’t have any other underlying conditions.

He’s scheduled for surgery on Friday.

Since the covid-19 outbreak there’s been a drop in sales in my online store and we still haven’t received our stimulus checks to help cover the costs, so we’re strained due to this sudden issue while trying to still pay bills/food/necessities.

We want our boi to live as long and as happy as he can, so anything helps right now and is greatly appreciated!
