Jennifer's Wheel Chair fund

Hi, my name is Kevin, and I have 3 siblings who have Spinal Muscular Atrophy, (SMA) My sister Jennifer, who is the youngest of the 3 siblings who have SMA, lives with her husband, has tried every avenue, to be proactive in trying her best to cope with the disease and  be active in her day.  In the past 2 years her ability has declined and movement has been very difficult. She has fallen recently trying to get to the kitchen and the bathroom to do her basic routine. Now realizing that she needs help to do those basic chores. She has tried to stay positive through the past couple of years, but it is very hard to, knowing she could fall when her husband is not home. What is SMA?  It is a disease that robs people of physical strength by affecting the motor nerve cells in the spinal cord, taking away the ability to walk, eat or breath. SMA is caused by a mutation in the survival motor neuron gene 1 [ SMN1]. The funds raised will help Jennifer to complete the purchase of the '' Quantum ilevel powered wheel chair'', and make her feel confident in all she can do. Any donation that we receive, will all go to help our cause in getting Jennifer the help needed to live her daily life.
