Gastroschisis

As everyone knows me and Quenton are expecting a baby girl! We are about 32 weeks and due at the end of July! We are beyond excited. What everyone doesn't know is that our baby girl suffers from a condition called Gastroschesis. Gastroschesis is a condition in which her bowels are outside of her body instead of inside her tummy. It's a rare condition that happens in the United States about 2,000 times a year. Right beside her belly button is a small hole where the bowels are coming out from. We are going to oOU once a week for appointments. We have a long road ahead of us. Baby girl will have to have surgery right after she is born to put the bowels back inside her tummy. Her estimated hospital stay is 3 months, but it could be longer considering how she reacts to feedings and how good of condition her instestines are in. Quenton and I are ready to meet baby Kaidyn and any help would be very much appreciated! Thank you so much!
