I haven't seen all my neighborhood friends for a while since I’m being kept indoors during Covid.  Thanks to all of you, over the years, with your contributions, I’ve gotten good care.  I just miss hanging out. 

My "Oliver of Carpenter Lane Care Team "recently took me for my annual wellness visit.  YIKES! Something is REALLY WRONG.  

I’ve been diagnosed with hyperthyroidism. NO GOOD OUTCOMES without a one time treatment.

I can get a one time radioactive Iodine injection that cures us cats 95-96% of the time.  Sounds good to me!   I’m in for being healthy again and being petted by all of you.  The problem is the cost:  $1500 - $1800.  Zowie!  My care team is scrambling.  So easy to cure but so costly.

As you all know, Oliver is a happy, affectionate cat. We have been told this injection, is cost effective and necessary since leaving the disease untreated will result in his life being full of pain; something we don't want to happen. 

We know these are emotionally and financially difficult times.  We also thought you would like to know he needs you.  A neighborhood effort could go a long way to a healthy Oliver.
