Terry's Liver Transplant Fund

My husband, Terry Tidwell, suffers from Stage 3 cirrhosis and will ultimately need a liver transplant. Unfortunately, to even be considered for a transplant one must have at least $300,000 to show an ability to finance the operation, or medical insurance. Terry currently has neither. He spends most days in exhaustion and in pain due to his illness and is unable to do the work he once loved, cooking and entertaining. In fact, he is unable to work at all outside of basic household chores. Despite this, he has been denied Social Security Disability and while he is attempting to fight this denial, it is a long and drawn out process that will take at least another year, if not considerably longer, from the time I write this.
This fund is not the only fundraising that will take place but it will pay for the costs of seeing doctors, expensive but necessary medical tests, medications, and help alleviate the financial strain of my husband and I living on one person's rather modest income. Most importantly, with success it will help lead to the funds necessary for Terry to have the surgery he will need in order to live. Any and all donations are appreciated.
