Dear friends and family,
On Thursday afternoon, our friend and father Terry Baker took his own life after a long battle with mental illness.
He is survived by his children Brandyn and Irelind, his granddaughter Savannah, his mother Eva, his sister Panicia, his brother Mike, and Patti.
Terry's family is deeply bereaved, but finds solace in knowing that he's no longer suffering. They will miss his warm smile, his love for music, and his enthusiasm for Halloween, Disney lore, and his Native American heritage.
Due to the sudden nature of Terry's passing, the family is facing an unforeseen and significant financial burden. They are deeply uncomfortable with the idea of asking for monetary assistance but have come to the conclusion that asking for help during this extremely difficult time is necessary.
Funds donated to the Baker family will help them pay for Terry's cremation and for a small plot for his family and friends to visit. It will also go towards the mortgage for the Esperanza Street house so that Eva and Brandyn, who lived there with Terry, can take a moment to process what has happened while they make plans for the future.
The family sincerely thanks everyone who has reached out in the last few days to express their condolences. Your support means the world to them as they work through a very grievous and taxing time.
