Terry Irwin - selfless man

Terry learned he had cancer in the Fall of 2017. He has cancer in his lungs, bones, liver and brain and doctors are trying to slow the growth and spread with chemo to let him live as long as possible. Terry has a beautiful family and many friends and always enjoyed the outdoors. He is a selfless man who worked hard to support his family installing carpet and flooring for many years. In talking to him you can tell he is more concerned with taking care of his family than anything else and downplays his suffering so as to make this easier on his family. When I visited Terry to see how he was doing after his chemo and losing his hair he met me at the door with a wig on and a clown nose to make light of what he was going through. He said to me all I ask of people is that they don't feel sorry for me. This love and concern for others ahead of himself makes him one of those rare selfless persons who inspire others to be more like him. It has been an honor to know Terry. He has considerable expenses and has always been a working man like many without significant financial savings and he still works while fighting cancer installing floors as much as he can to provide for his family. I hope many will help him through prayers and financial support.
