Terminal cancer making memories

Hi, my name is Bonnie.

my dad has recently been diagnosed with Terminal cancer at the age of 55.

spread from his kidney to his lungs, stomach & lymph nodes.

unsure of how long we have with him exactly at the moment, he’s due to go in for an operation in September to remove one of his his kidney’s & the 13cm mass attached to it.

Dad is also main carer for his youngest daughter Nikita who is 20. She has a central brain tumour & NF1. He’s forever doing things for her & everyone else. He doesn’t ever seem to get much of a rest or break. 

My dad lives for his children & his grandchildren especially. They’re all that’s keeping him going. It would mean the world to him and more to raise some money so that we can make the rest of his life that he has left making memories with the grandchildren. But we just cannot afford to do so. Like a weekend away somewhere like legoland or chesington where he can see his grandchildren in ‘their element’ so to speak.

or just a little break away on a boat.

or just anything that means we can forget about that horrible C word for just a little while :(

I know he wants a big party with everyone like a living wake where he can be at the party too (which I find strange, but that’s one of his wishes on his bucket list)

It’s looking like he can’t give me away on my wedding day like he always wanted to do. So I just want to make the rest of his life he has left full of fun, making magical memories while he’s still physically able to.
