Terminal cancer family has limited time together

Donations raised are to fund everything from rent and bills, to food and medical expenses. Mainly prescription medications and the constant need to travel to Edmonton for everything cancer related. (Doctors appointments, surgery's, etc)

2) loss of jobs due to those same accidents.

3) loss of nearly all possessions including home after the last oil recession.

4) Skin cancer in my mom which only last year was battled and beaten after her having multiple surgeries including facial reconstruction on her nose and forehead.

And more but I feel this paints a good picture of how much my parents have suffered and been through, and never have they let their constant bad luck change the amazing and kind, wonderful people they are. My mom basically raised me alone with very little help from the age of 19 to 30 until she met Randy who changed our lives and gave us more than just a husband and father, but made us an actual 2 parent family as well as the future addition of my brother Bruce Dreger.

This first part is just to quickly paraphrase the extreme situation and hardships that make me feel there is no other option but to ask for help from all those who are able to. Please know that no donations is to small as every bit helps. If everyone who sees this and has the means to donate just $20, I know it will change my mom and dads lives and time left together for the better.

Please know that this is not just the first time I've tried a fundraiser, but its due to the extreme urgency and very much needed help from anyone and everyone who has the means to do so.

The reason for me doing this is my Mom Christine Dreger was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer just a few months ago in September 2021. After having non stop headaches for close to a month it was time to find out the reason. Within a few hrs and a CT scan at the Lloydminster hospital she was given the news that Noone ever wants or is prepared for. A cancer of the brain called Glioblastoma which is not only terminal but an extremely aggressive, un-cureable, and in almost all cases a very very short period of time from diagnosis to loss of life.

The treatments she has been through are all they are able to do to slow down the rate of progression and they included risky brain surgery, 6 weeks of daily radiation and chemo pills. Her symptoms are many and seem to progress almost weekly. Christmas eve was her first seizure and if wasn't a small one. If not for Randy being there to take care of her and rush her to the hospital the outcome would have been much worse. Everyday is a fight for her and to a far lesser extent her family. Which are her husband (my dad), Randy Dreger, her other son Bruce (my younger brother), and myself.

Due to so very many problems my parents have had happen to them over the past 20 years we no longer have any means of continuing this fight together without the help of everyone from extended family, to the good hearted people we have never met. I want to thank you all from the bottom of my heart and hope and pray you all have a most wonderful year and all years left for you and yours.
