We are a grassroots 501c3 Non Profit in Lawndale, California raising funds to build wells in Andhra Pradesh.
100% of the donations goto the project and none to administration costs. Our staff is 100% non paid volunteers dedicated to helping our vision become a reality.
Each well is expected to cost around $350 depending if they are to be built or rebuilt using existing non functioning wells.
After the wells, we will reach out to community and help the less fortunate students pay for their tuition to get their education.
Andhra Pradesh has many villages that are living in poverty. Officials from the Ground Water department describes the drought so severe as levels in the state have plummeted by 2.78 metres during 2015. Borewells are drying up in many places. People are desperately trying to rely on groundwater, but even that is scarce.
Our founder is from Andhra Pradesh and has seen firsthand the difficulties of the villagers living without a source of fresh water. Currently in the rural areas, people are getting water from lakes or rain. There are no available sources for clean water for the villages and many have to travel many miles to get water to carry miles home.
Our mission is to provide humanitarian relief to the communities of India and to improve lives by building wells to provide fresh drinking water to people and animals.
