For Sandy

This was Sandy's smile before health problems and medications took it away.  She has since lost all of her bottom teeth as well as two front teeth. She can only eat food that is soft or cut into small pieces. This is affecting her health as well as her self-esteem. She is embarrassed to go out. What is left of them have to be removed by an oral surgeon before she can get dentures. Due to Sandy's complicated medical history she will have to have them removed in the hospital and that alone will be around $20,000. The oral surgeon will be another $9,000 and her health insurance will not cover any of it. I know that sounds like a lot for dentures, and it is. It's not like she is getting implants, just dentures. And she is planning on getting them from either Affordable Dentures or Dentures In A Day. Nothing fancy.
We have tried every avenue we can think of to finance this. Medicare refuses to help because they don't deem it medically necessary. Obviously, I strongly disagree.
This is our last resort.
Sandy was born with Neurofibromatosis, a genetic disorder that causes tumors to grow along nerves, both internally and externally. In addition to that a week after her second child was born she suffered a massive aneurysm that nearly killed her and left her paralyzed from the neck down. After many months in neurological ICU and physical therapy she regained most of her motor skills but is still partially paralyzed on the right side.
I'm not able to help her out financially due to the fact that I am disabled as well and my only source of income is Social security disability. I was born with Spina Bifida and I am in a wheelchair.
Help me bring back Sandy's smile.
