TEENAGE CREATIVE GROUP

My name is Dani Burke and I am an independent self-employed artist that volunteers by running creative sessions for adults as an aid for mental health. I will be running creative sessions for teenagers to help them express themselves through art.

Many of our teenagers struggle with anxiety, depression, and a lack of confidence, some are suffering due to bullying and the pressures of modern-day life and creative therapy is so beneficial for this. I want to offer a safe positive space for teenagers and I have finally found a venue at Castelton library in Rochdale I have a waiting list of teenagers who need these sessions so much.

I am reaching out for help so I can buy art materials for these sessions because I am struggling to get funding as I am not a registered charity.

I am not a charity I am just a local woman that is very passionate about creative therapy and helping people.

I want to help our local teenagers and encourage them to get creative.
