Hi, my name is Teria (tear-uh) but most people call me Tea. I'm 22 years old from New York but recently moved to Orlando in a 1/1. I was very excited to move into an apartment, sign a lease and start a new chapter in life because I needed a fresh start.
I've recently dealt with a lot of loss and heartache, as many have during this time. I'm currently unemployed and my parents are helping me, but when it comes to my mental health it isn't at the best it could be. I haven't been able to attend funerals or host memorials, most of my family is in NY and with the pandemic I haven't been able to make it back. Life has been difficult and my will to live is close to nonexistent. I've been hesitant to make this or even ask for money because I know it gets a negative response when it isn't for dire situations..but my only motivation is my business, and my home. My home is my sanctuary, a place I can be myself and I want to fill it with pieces that bring me joy. Also, decorating and interior design is a hobby I'd love to get into but cannot afford lol. Furniture and decor is very expensive, so a portion of this fund will go to that. The rest, though, will go towards a car (yes, i'm an idiot for moving to the south without one but hey i'm a new yorker...give me time lol) and my business.
Being a black woman looking for people to invest in me has been hard and the way people treat me when I look for investors is disheartening. I have so many ideas and plans, but no money or resources to implement them and really get to work which also takes a toll on me mentally. I am usually very ambitious and outgoing, but lately life has been beating me up. I don't really know what else to do.
I really appreciate any kind of help. My goal is going to be set at 2.2k to start and hopefully I can change it to 4k which is my actual goal..but ANYTHING literally anything helps. My twitter is @xotesfaye if you would like to message me personally!! ❤️
