Our family would like to thank everyone for their contributions and support on our previous gofundme post. We were able to raise $2140. That money raised helped our family in many ways; it helped cover the cost of medications, doctor visits and medical tests. It provided a financial cushion for our family, which allowed our mother to focus solely on her health and we are so appreciative. Unfortunately, our mother's health has taken a turn for the worse. After being hospitalized on 10/26/2017 we were devastated to find out that her cancer had spread to 1 part of the brain. The plan was to target this spot with radiation but she then started to experience seizures, sometimes 5 times a day. They then did another scan and realized that it was spread to 5 spots throughout her brain. She is uncommunicative and restless. On Tuesday November 7th our mother was sent home where she could be comfortable, peaceful and surrounded with voices and faces that she is familiar with. I understand how hard this is to read for those of you who love our mother; it is just as hard to type. Although there is still hope and prayers being said, we are now making arrangements should the worst happen. We are asking family and friends, and even strangers for financial support. So please find it in your hearts to help us and help our mom have the services she deserves. Thank you so incredibly much.
