We have an anonymous donor that has stepped forward and will match dollar for dollar up to $5000! We are humbled and grateful for the generosity during this difficult time for so many. This is the hardest thing that we've ever imagined we'd be in the position to have to do... No one ever told us that in four years that we'd be hit with a pandemic and our world would be turned upside down. As many know, all restaurants & bars have been ordered by Governor Holcomb to cease dine in service until at least the end of March. This means that our hourly staff are without income as many rely on tips from our guests to support their families.
#teamtolon is not just a bunch of people... the staff is family. We are family. And as their "queen bee" as they like to call me, I must watch out for my hive to make sure they are all safe, well and can provide for themselves and their families.
With this, you, our guests, have become our family too. We realize that each and every one in our amazing City is being affected by the COVID-19 virus. But in this time of uncertainty, we must all come together to support each other in ways we never thought we would.
We are asking if you can spare anything at all to donate to the #teamtolon hourly employee emergency fund to help our staff until we can see all of your beautiful smiles and faces. Any funds raised will be given directly to staff and distributed evenly among them all.
If you are able to donate, know that you will be forever loved by all of us. And as a thank you, we promise as soon as we can, we will throw the biggest party on Harrison that Fort Wayne has seen for all of you who have become our family and thank you for your support during this time.
