Medical Relief to Lesvos Island :)

We're raising money to provide emergency medical relief to the refugees because Lesvos Island is in a state of emergency for help. Lesvos Island is currently facing a tremendous influx of refugees seeking asylum in Europe as the island is one of the main entry points for the refugees. Given the large number of refugees arriving, resources and manpower are quickly expended.
Roughly over 7,000 refugees are arriving everyday into Lesvos. With their arrival and boats capsizing everyday, families drowning, children being washed up ashore, mortality increasing, fear of cholera outbreak, and over a thousand cases of hypothermia, there is a shortage of medical help. There is an outcry for organizations, and medical staff to assist with this state of emergency.
My name is Freshta Poupal, I am a Registered Nurse in NYC. My parents came to America as Afghan refugees in the 1970's. Waheeda Abassi , a refugee who also fled afghanistan the same time as my parents will also be joining me on this mission. She is very passionate about the struggles these refugees are going through and understand it first hand. Many of these refugees are Afghan that do not speak any english. With your generous donation and help We can make a difference in many of these refugees lives. We are the products of a Refugee family and I feel that it is time for ud to do the same for these refugees coming into Lesvos Greece.
This money will be used to ship donation items to the refugees such as medical supplies, feminine supplies, and hygiene kits. Ticket-1,000
All donated emergency items will be distrbuted at the UNHCR camps and medical camps to the refugees in Lesvos. During my trip I will take pictures and videos as well as interviews of the current crisis.
