Team Ron cancer fight
Donation protected
At the young age of 31, Ron Yost was diagnosed with stage 4 Large B Cell Lymphoma. Recently graduated with a bachlors degree in criminal justice, Ron whole life was ahead of him. Then what started as a simple back pain, resulted in total organ failure. In the beginning, Ron continued to work. Always dedicated to his job, Ron still went in while being told that his symptoms were simply a bad back. After weeks of trying to manage his pain, Ron was ultimately told by his boss and co-workers that he should see his doctor again. And after constant pleading by his family, Ron finally contacted his doctor. Now rounds of blood work and a cat scan were revealing total organ failure. His family was called to the hospital and was told that Ron would not survive that night. Still not knowing what they were dealing with, Ron’s doctors made one last effort to save his life. Ron was flooded with prednisone and chemo therapy. Within hours, Ron’s pain was being managed and his life was spared. Today, after 5 rounds of chemotherapy, Ron’s organ functions are normal. At Stanford Medical Center, he will undergo a bone marrow transplant in January. As you can only imagine, the medical bills are endless and at times overwhelming. It is with your help that we can ease one small part of this horrific nightmare. With your generous donation, we can help Ron will this fight against this terrible disease. Let’s all pray that one day we will witness a world without cancer.
