Get Ornella to Thailand Int. Boxing Tournament!

I had the opportunity to visit Burundi in East Africa for the first time in December 2018 to visit my mother. It is a country with so much natural beauty, as well as incredible restaurants and gyms. I left looking forward to my next visit, which will be this June. My mother has told me about Ornella Havyarimana’s story.
Ornella Havyarimana is a 22 year old female boxer from Burundi, East Africa and she is the only woman in Burundi who competes professionally in the boxing ring. Ornella wants to be a role model for young women. She is talented and ambitious. She trains every day to compete in regional competitions and is currently training to qualify for the Olympics. That is why she is reaching out for support. In order to qualify she needs to participate in international competitions. But there are no financial means available as Burundi is one of the poorest countries in the world. The first international tournament, essential for her to participate in, is in Thailand from the 18th to the 28th of July 2019. The costs to get her and her coach Joseph Nkamicaniye there are 3566 USD: this includes tickets (2x 1583 USD), visa fee (2x 100 USD) and travel insurance (200 USD). The Thai boxing federation will house and feed them.
How I am related to the beneficiary: I have met Ornella’s coach Joseph in person the last time I was in Burundi and he has kept me updated on Ornella’s story.
I will be withdrawing the funds in my name into my Dutch bank account and will send the money raised to Joseph, her coach, via Western Union. Joseph has opened a US dollar bank account in Burundi which I will transfer the money to. He will be able to withdraw the money.
