Wow, I never would have imagined I'd be creating this page, but here it goes. Last Tuesday my brother Michael and his wife Janine received the worst news any parent could ever hear, about their beautiful 2 year old son Anthony. They were advised by their doctor to take him to the hospital for a CAT scan when it was noticed that he was having a hard time keeping his neck straight and then extremely shortly after that began vomiting. That test would show a mass on the back of Anthony's head. An MRI was then ordered that would quickly reveal it was a tumor. Anthony was put into almost immediate surgery to try and remove the tumor off of his brain. After 4 days of waiting, it was confirmed that the tumor was cancerous.
As any parents would, Michael and Janine have not left his sweet side. Anthony is healing from surgery but will have a tough road ahead of him for a complete recovery that will include more testing and eventually rounds of
chemo. They are exhausted but still pushing, worn but still fighting, terrified but still hopeful and believing. At a time like this I am so heavy hearted that while all their focus right now is rightly placed at Anthony's side, sadly the world around us does not stop and wait. Bills still come in the mail expecting to be paid, and more are anticipated to be on their way in the coming months.
Along with all the love and prayers that are being poured out daily on their behalf, this page is a very tangible way to help and support them during this time. It is with deep humility on behalf of my brother's family, that I ask anyone willing to please help. Please consider a gift, any size, no gift is too small.
