This page is created for two of our most favorite people Adam and Heather Kinsey. Adam and Heathers story is one of true, unconditional love. If you know either of them, then you know how big each of their hearts are and how fiercely they love each other as well as their family and friends. They were planning a big celebratory wedding in October (we are still doing it FYI) but with an unfortunate chain of events with Adams health, they decided to go ahead and get married in a small, quiet, love filled chapel in the hospital. The love in the room was overwhelming as Heather held Adam to keep him steady during their vows.

All of this started a couple of months ago when Adam developed a cough and it just wouldn't go away. After a couple months of it worsening, he finally went to the doctor. It was pneumonia. After meds and a trip home from the doctor, his condition continued to decline. Now we have our setting in the ER. As we wait for CT results and more meds, the diagnosis became a little more grim. We sat there with the nursing staff and doctors telling us we were in their prayers as they transported him to the hospital. They found a mass that was blocking his airway. Of course the worst news we were not expecting, but we all are going to fight along side Adam and Heather.

Fast forward to three bronchoscopies later, and the mass has become a pocket of nasty infection that is eating away at his lungs. No amount of antibiotics we found were going to get rid of it. Little did the doctors know how bad it would get. He seemed to be getting better, and they sent him home, where he wanted to be so desperately. A few days later, he was in so much pain and couldn't breathe, so back to the ER they went.

Now on hospitalization number two, the diagnosis was way worse. His prognosis is way worse and he now has severely damaged lung tissue that is perplexing the medical teams. Infectious Disease, Pulmonologists, and Pulmonary Surgeons are all working hard to figure out what it is eating away at his lung tissue. More bronchoscopies and CT's have determined that on top of a necrotizing pneumonia, he has spores and molds that are now taking over his lung tissue. These are typically found in those with Cystic Fibrosis, and unless it is removed, it will only cause more damage to the surrounding healthy lung tissue.

As of right now, the surgeon has decided they will take his top right lobe of his lung (no freaking out, he can most definitely live a NORMAL and HEALTHY life without that lobe). All of this has put a HUGE damper financially on Heather and Adam. If you know them as we do, you know they have ALWAYS been giving and supporting of their friends and family. Never asking for anything in return. Now it's our turn to help them. If you find it in your heart and the Good Lord presses on you that giving is something you can do, then please offer your prayers and monetary donations so that they can pay their bills and get started on paying for the overwhelming medical bills. We appreciate any and all you can do for this amazing couple!
