Helping a friend get off the street

Sometimes a series of misforunate coincidences forces good people into sad situations. Our good friend Susie had an undiagnosed illness that has eliminated her ability to get the public health job she went to grad school to qualify for, and spent many more years becoming an expert. To make matters worse, she was swindled out of her savings by a "friend," and she wound up renting from a woman who turned out to be a paranoid meth addict who is preventing her from returning to her home. With no savings, and unable to get to all her belongings, Susie has spent the last two months living out her car. I hope we can all contribute even a little to help get Susie into a new apartment where she can start rebuilding her life.
