Family and friends learn that one of their loved ones has breast cancer. In this case, it’s our family and friends who receive the diagnosis. In this case, it’s very personal to all of us. This hits home. It is Brittany Leia Vilar, whom we all love so much, who must now fight breast cancer and win.

The initial diagnosis of stage two invasive ductal carcinoma has been found to have been with her for three to seven years, only recently forming into a lump.

Brittany and her spouse Erin have begun to assemble treatment plans with teams of caregivers. These caregivers initially include family, friends, breast surgeon, endocrinologist, geneticist, plastic surgeon, oncologist, and social worker.

Brittany’s health care will be a financial concern that we all can help with. Finding financial support and resources is essential to Brittany’s challenge right now and in the future.
