Team Ty Llywelyn for The Welsh Mountain Zoo

Team Ty Llywelyn are looking to raise money for The Welsh Mountain Zoo and Ty Llywelyn! The Welsh Mountain Zoo means a lot to many of us locally. The Welsh Mountain Zoo has been hit particularly hard by the restrictions of the COVID-19 pandemic and relies on public donations. It is the oldest and most established zoo in Wales, having been run as a family business by the Jackson family since 1963. Whilst closed the zoo's running costs still totaled £118,000 per month.
Staff and patients will be taking part in a virtual bike ride from Lands End to John O Groat's in order to raise funds. By bike Land's End to john O Groat's is 874 miles!
All funds raised will be divided between The Welsh mountain Zoo and Ty Llywelyn. Monies raised for Ty Llywelyn will go straight to patient funds, directly benefitting patients rehab.
Fundraising is beneficial to our patients as it also gives patients a focus and something to work towards as well as giving back to the local community.
