Team Tom Fighting Cancer Together

Dear family and friends

My name is Lesa and I never thought I would be raising money to fight cancer again. This time its not for me but for my Uncle Tom.

As some of you may know my Uncle Tom Gard has been recently diagnosed with Stage 4 Lung Cancer that has spread to other parts of his body as well. Thanks to our governments health care system (and/or lack there of) it will cost him a minimum of $7000.00 before insurance will start to pay for any further chemo or treatment.

I personally know how expensive cancer treatment is and want to do all I can to help and hopefully raise the funds necessary to pay for his ongoing chemo and medical care and continue to fight the fight.

Tom had his first chemo last Friday and has been staying positive and is ready to take this head on.

Please help me raise money to meet his insurance maximums so the insurance will start to cover further treatments needed. Anything helps.
