Team Tinsley

Tinsley Hope Stevens was born on Wednesday, February 22, 2017. Tinsley was born with a variety of medical issues, the most serious being that a part of her brain(the thalamus) did not develop properly. It was a possibility that she would not have the ability to breathe on her own. She overcame this obstacle and came into the world crying and taking breaths on her own. That being said, she is still facing many other obstacles, including a serious orthopedic issue with her legs that will need to be addressed in the future. Tinsley has been at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center since Friday, February 24th and unfortunately had a setback on Saturday when she developed a tear in one of her lungs, causing a pneumothorax, ultimately making it necessary for her to be put on a ventilator. She has a long road towards recovery ahead of her. Tinsley's parents, Andee and Robby, have been by her side through all of this. Andee is truly like a daughter to me so I am setting this page up for her to help them with the expenses that they will incur throughout this lengthy process, whether it be medical expenses, loss of income from the time they are taking off of work to be with Tinsley, as well as the expenses that come along with traveling back and forth to the hospital while also caring for their three older children. Any little bit will help and hopefully lessen the burden of the weight they have on their shoulders right now. Any donations they receive that exceed the amount that is needed for the care of Tinsley will be donated to Cincinnati Childrens Hospital Medical Center.
