Team Sprocket's Campaign with Friends of Yimbo

Diamond Bar High School's robotics team, 3473: Team Sprocket, has partnered with Dedicated to Learning and Friends of Yimbo to raise funds to support educational efforts in the Mugana Village in Kenya.
We are hosting the “Sprocket Walk-It for Yimbo 13K Walk” on Saturday, February 29th at the DBHS track from 8am-11am. We will be spending our Leap Day raising awareness and funds to improve educational opportunities for students in this region of the world.
ALL funds raised from this campaign will be used to provide STEM educational materials (such as laptops, LCD projectors, engineering & robotics curriculum…) that will be delivered to Yimbo this summer by volunteers from Team Sprocket. Our volunteers will host educational workshops for teachers and students to create sustainable educationally opportunities for inspiring students toward future studies in STEM fields.
