Team Snell

On January 13th we learned that Tom has acute leukemia (AML).  He is being treated at Memorial Sloan-Kettering in NYC. Tom took a child care leave this year from his teaching job to pursue a doctoral degree and stay home with our children.  Living on one income has been an adjustment, so we had both been doing private tutoring in order to keep up with our household expenses.   Additionally, Tom had been ready to teach two college courses next semester. Now that Tom is going through treatments, neither of us will be available to tutor for a while and he won't be teaching the courses. We have only just begun to realize the additional expenses that we are going incur on this journey, a huge one being childcare as Tom was home with our children 3 days a week.   We truly appreciate any help you can give us.
