Team Shelbie Cancer Relief Fund

Hello. I'm Lauren, Shelbies mother. As many of you know Shelbie just completed treatment for triple negative breast cancer after being diagnosed in March. When she was just 14 she was diagnosed and treated for Osteosarcoma (Bone Cancer). We'd hoped never to go through this again. But here she is at 23 years old going through it with grit and grace. Having an almost 3 year old daughter makes things allot different for her this time around. We are busy thanking God for successful chemotherapy treatment, doctors, nurses and other healthcare employees. But since the end of treatment and surgery, there have been two infections and hospitalizations. There will be at least 2 other surgeries in the next year. She has not worked since March, thanks to cancer and Covid-19 but she's going through class right now to start a CNA job in the coming weeks. Financially, as you can imagine, this has been hard for her. All of us have kept her afloat through the year but it's time to break down and ask for some more help.
