Team Roger: Fight Colon Cancer

If you have ever met Roger, you know how fun and kind he is. His positive attitude is infectious, and his laughter fills the room. He is a joy to be around, and his family depends on him for his fatherly advice and loving hugs. Roger's favorite titles are "Dad" and "Papa."

On July 30, 2022, the Sims family's world was turned upside down. While in the hospital for what seemed to be appendicitis, the doctors found a cancerous tumor in Roger's colon. As they completed further testing, they found that his cancer had spread to his liver and lungs. The doctors confirmed later that he has Stage 4B Colon Cancer. Roger will get his port placed for treatments on August 29th and starts chemotherapy on September 1st.

All the donations to Team Roger will go towards treatments and other necessities as we will fight colon cancer and keep our spirits high.
