Wie zijn we?
Team Phoenix is een synchroonschaatsteam bestaande uit 25 enthousiaste schaatsers met al even enthousiaste coaches, namelijk Mireille Mostaert, Anja Verpoort en Aurélie Lanvu. Gert Hofmann (coach van Team Berlin1) staat in voor de choreografie.
Onze thuisbasis is de ijsbaan van Liedekerke, de club waar we voor uitkomen is Heuvelkouter.

Synchroonschaatsen is – naast soloschaatsen, ijsdansen en paarrijden – een discipline van het kunstschaatsen. Onze discipline geniet nog van weinig bekendheid in België. Wij hopen hierin verandering te brengen en zoveel mogelijk mensen kennis te laten maken met deze mooie en gracieuze sport. Met een groep van 12 tot 16 schaatsers worden er allerlei formaties – zoals cirkels, lijnen,… – uitgevoerd op het ijs. Het mooiste aspect van onze discipline is de samenwerking tussen de schaatsers. De schaatsers moeten namelijk dezelfde passen, dezelfde armbewegingen en dezelfde beleving uitvoeren en overbrengen naar het publiek en de jury.
Op de Autumn Cup te Granada (Spanje) behaalde het team de benodigde punten om zich te kwalificeren voor het WORLD SYNCHRONIZED SKATING CHAMPIONSHIPS in Stockholm (Zweden) in april 2018.
Tijdens de wedstrijd Wintercup te Gullegem werd Team Phoenix Belgisch Kampioen in de categorie Senior ISU.
Tijdens de wedstrijd Kempen Trophy in Turnhout werd Team Phoenix Vlaams Kampioen in de categorie Senior ISU.
Op de World Synchronized Skating Championships in Stockholm (Zweden) behaalde het team een uitstekend resultaat met een 17de plaats op 25 teams.
Voor het seizoen 2021-2022 zijn we hard aan het trainen in een nieuwe samenstelling.
Wat willen we?
We zijn zeer gemotiveerd en willen nog beter presteren de komende seizoenen. We zijn ervan overtuigd dat we veel kunnen groeien, hogere scores halen, kunnen deelnemen aan internationale wedstrijden,…
Om al onze dromen te kunnen vervullen, hopen wij echter op uw hulp te kunnen rekenen.
Met onze campagne willen we geld inzamelen om onze schaatsers te helpen de vele kosten die gepaard gaan met onze sport te dragen. Deze kosten zijn: aankoop competitie- en trainingskledij, make-up en haarbenodigdheden, de ijshuur, de vergoeding van onze trainers en reis- en verblijfkosten bij buitenlandse wedstrijden en stages.

Who are we?
Team Phoenix is a synchronised skating team with 25 enthusiastic skaters and equally enthusiastic coaches, Mireille Mostaert, Anja Verpoort and Aurélie Lanvu. Gert Hofmann (the Team Berlin1 coach) is responsible for the choreography.
Our homerink is situated in Liedekerke and our club is Heuvelkouter.
Synchronised skating is - along with single skating, icedance and pair skating - a discipline within figureskating. Our discipline isn't widely known in Belgium and we are hoping to change that by letting as many people as possible get to know our beautiful and graceful sport. With a group of 12 to 16 skaters we perform all kinds of formations - like circles, lines,... on the ice. The best part of our discipline is the collaboration between the skaters. All skaters are required to perform the same steps, the same arm movements and the same interpretation and convey these to the audience and the judges.
At Autumn Cup in Granada (Spain) the team earned the necessary points to qualify for the WORLD SYNCHRONIZED SKATING CHAMPIONSHIPS in Stockholm (Sweden) in april 2018.
During the competition Wintercup in Gullegem, Team Phoenix became Belgian Champion in the category Senior ISU.
During the competition Kempen Trophy in Turnhout, Team Phoenix became Flemish Champion in the category Senior ISU.
At the World Synchronized Skating Championships in Stockholm (Sweden), Team Phoenix earned 104,20 points and the 17th place out of 25 teams. A strong performance for the team.
We are working hard for the upcoming season 2021-2022 with a new formation.
What do we want?
We are enormously motivated and want to do even better in the upcoming seasons. We are convinced we have what it takes to grow, to get higher scores, to compete on an international level,...
To be able to fulfill all of our dreams, we are hoping to be able to have your support.
With this campaign we are raising funds to help our skaters with the many costs they have by being in this sport. Those costs are: buying competition- and training outfits, make-up and hair accessories, paying for ice-time, the fees of our coaches and travel- and accomodation fees when competing or being on a trainingcamp abroad.
