Family and friends,
Israel Escobedo was well on his way towards another successful season playing varsity football for Segerstrom High School. His goals were to support his team and make it to the CIF championships this season.
However, God had a greater plan for him.
Israel was diagnosed with A.L.L. (Accute Lymphoblastic Leukemia), and with that, has begun several rounds of chemotherapy to begin his battle against Leukemia. Although his life-long dreams revolved around playing football, he is determined to turn this illness into his testimony towards God's goodness on his life.
We are asking for donations to help provide aide to his parents for hospital expenses not covered through insurance, bear the cost for their extended time-off from work, as well as additional tutoring expenses since he will be homeschooled for the remainder of the school year.
As a family, we are ready to fight alongside Israel, and cannot thank each and every one of you that have prayed, visited, or contacted us with your support.
