You guys, this is it. Mike Braginton finally has a surgery date! Its been a long 3 years and 11 months. Many long days of dialysis and hundreds of hours of time given and devoted for life sustaining treatments.
The next leg of his journey is so close and the orchestration of care from his medical, family and friend teams is of great importance!! We will need as much help as we can arrange to support Mike during his recovery and healing after the surgery date. Mike will not be able to work for 6 weeks or more all depending on his recovery time. He will need help with many things from food (a very restrictive and specific diet), deliveries and very expensive medicine, follow ups and more. Mikes immune system will be wiped and he will be recovering at home with caregivers. His only outings will be hospital check ups. Even though we can not be with Mike there is so much we can do to help from afar!!
