UPDATE:
Unfortunately, despite fighting so hard, John lost his battle with his cancer in October 2018.
We would like to put any additional donations towards Amelia and Katie’s college funds. Their future was incredibly important to John and Nicole and we are sure he would be so thankful for each of you.
John’s Journey:
John was having trouble with his vision and after seeing a doctor and having an MRI, found out that he had a cancerous brain tumor. John had a long road ahead of him with treatment to beat the cancer.
John had a wonderful wife, Nicole, and two beautiful daughters, Amelia (9) and Katie (7). With Johns prognosis, he would be spending a lot of time at home and traveling for treatment.
There were several things that he wanted to do to his house, the main things being paint the interior of the house and build a outdoor area for his family to grill out and relax.
All funds raised went towards the materials needed to make these projects happen and any extra contributed to medical expenses and travel.
The projects were completed by family and friends volunteering their help over 3 days back in November 2017.
If you spent any time with John, you know how much he loved his family and how he would do anything for anyone!
