Team Jade with Type 1 Diabetes

Our daughter Jade was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes 1month ago. She is just a year and a half old which makes managing her Diabetes difficult. There are certain signs and symptoms that will let us know if her sugars are high or low. However, with her age it's pretty much a guessing game considering she cannot tell us what she is feeling. Our doctor says she needs to be on a Dexcom Machine (Continuous Glucose Monitor) so we will be able to maintain her sugar levels better. Her insurance does not cover this machine however and we have to pay out of pocket. With this machine we will be able to help our daughter in her fight to defeat Type 1 Diabetes. This machine will also eliminate us having to prick our daughter's fingers and toes from 45 times a week to once a week. Thank you all for your time and your help!!!! GO TEAM JADE!!!!!
